Uniland Development Co.is working on a fourth warehouse complex for the region. The newest build would be at 3401 Military Road in the town of Niagara. Business First reports Uniland is smoothing out the details with the town and the Niagara County IDA. If approved, the two phase project would begin early this winter.
Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of Western New York has opened a new Medicare Center in The Tennyson Building in Amherst. The health plan has two similar locations in Orchard Park and Tonawanda.
There is a new name attached to the former Armor Inn and Tap Room and new operators. Business First notes the restaurant/pub at 5381 Abbott Road is now the Rush Creek Alehouse. Lew and Beth Barber hope to have full ownership by the end of this year.
