Uniland Changes Plan For Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park Site

Uniland Development Company has changed its mind about building a logistics hub at Buffalo's Lakeside Commerce Park. Business First reports Uniland instead is proposing a solar farm for the site. The company is offering to purchase about 20 acres of property for a reported $509,000 from the Buffalo Urban Development Corporation. The BUDC will meet December 22nd to consider that proposal.

A number of changes at HUNT Insurance Agency.  James Farah has been named the President and Chief Insurance Officer.  David Weber has been appointed Executive Vice President.  Amber Smith has been appointed Vice President of Operations.


Catholic Health's hospitals lead the region in The Leapfrog Group's Fall 2020 Hospital Safety Grade Report, including the only two "A" Safety Grades in Western New York.  Kenmore Mercy and Mount St. Mary's hospitals earned two of only fourteen "A" grades that were given in all of New York State.  Sisters of Charity Hospital's Main St. and St. Joseph Campuses, as well as Mercy Hospital of Buffalo each received the region's only "B" Safety Grades.
