BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - United Way of Greater Niagara has began accepting applications for program funding. All nonprofits in Niagara County that share the same goals as the United Way are eligible to apply. Applications can be submitted until October 31st.
Forest Lawn has renamed its administration building to the James M. Wadsworth Center in recognition of their current Board of Trustees Chair. The historic building was constructed in 1907.
Several Buffalo companies will participate in this year's New York State Innovation Summit in Saratoga Springs. The fields of advanced manufacturing, advanced materials, energy innovation and biotechnology will be represented by companies like Sigma Advanced Materials and Tapecon Inc. among others.
