Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Univera Healthcare has named this year's recipients of it Health Equity Innovation awards, which provides funding for area nonprofits. The five groups to receive this year's honor are the American Heart Association, Resource Council of Western New York, Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, ECMC Foundation and Community Wellness Works. More than 60 groups applied for the award.
Connor's Irish pub at 3465 Seneca Street near the Buffalo/West Seneca border has new owners. Business First says Kaylee Keller and Steven Vann plan to keep things status quo at the restaurant. Brothers Mitch and Nick Schmitt ran the restaurant for the last two years.
