Federal regulators find unsafe practices at Lake Shore Savings

Federal regulators have discovered unsafe and unsound practices at Lake Shore Savings Bank, according to Buffalo Business First. The bank has been tasked with developing a 3 year strategic plan that enacts new policies and procedures focusing on improving information technology and risk management.

Three Stories Coffee Co.'s East Side based café is shutting down after opening less than a year ago. The café was located at 1021 Broadway next to the Broadway Market. The company will continue to sell their coffee to partners as well as wholesale.


One of downtown Lockport's oldest buildings may soon be receiving a makeover. The Niagara Hotel is included in a proposed $7 million renovation presented by Buffalo attorney Josh Ramos. Plans for the site located at 58 North Transit Street include turning the former hotel into loft-style apartments, as well as the addition of a courtyard.

Gas prices across Buffalo looking largely the same from a week ago, at $3.40 per gallon. That's down one cent from last week.
