A new Taco Bell location opened Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the corner of Abbott and Ridge Road in Lackawanna. For 20 years that corner had been occupied by a closed gas station. The first 50 customers at today's grand opening received free tacos for a year.
Deep South Taco on Hertel Avenue is closing and moving to a new location, according to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page. The location had been open for 9 years. The statement says customers should stay tuned for the announcement of their new location. Deep South Taco on Ellicott Street is still open.
