BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - Valu Home Centers President and CEO Michael Ervolina, Jr. has announced the promotion of Dan Diemert to Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer. In addition, Scott Ortman has been promotted to Executive Vice President and COO. Diemert and Ortman's role will be to improve efficiency and innovation for the company.

The Made for Good Shop, an initiative run by the Kenmore Village Improvement Society, will host a Wednesday Addams inspired "Wednesday Fest" throughout the month of October. The store will have unique products inspired by Wednesday Addams for sale. The Made for Good Shop is located at 7 Warren Avenue in Kenmore.
