Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Seven new stores are opening at the Walden Galleria this year while another is getting a major remodel. American Eagle is getting a full redesign and is expected to reopen at the end of May. Among the new tenants at the mall will be restaurants Ruby Thai Kitchen and Gyuzo Japanese BBQ. Other new additions include:

- Perfumania - Designer fragrance retailer
- Perfection Nail Spa VIII
- Noble Jade Ring Bar
- La Nuova - National beauty and wellness retailer
2025 was a successful year for HUNT Real Estate. The company ranked 33rd in transaction sides and 60th in closed sales volume in the nation in the latest RISMedia Power Broker Report.
Invest Buffalo Niagara President Tom Kucharski will retire this summer. Kucharski has led the group since 2000 and has more than 40 years of experience in economic development. Invest Buffalo Niagara does research, marketing and business development outreach for clients.
The New Era Cap Foundation is giving a jolt to D'Youville's new College of Medicine, putting $250,000 toward the school's development. The university will welcome its first medical school class this August.
