Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - An auction of the bankrupt Weinberg Campus in Amherst won't happen after mortgage holder BP Getzville Campus pulled their support of the sale. The nursing home closed in late 2024 before filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Business First says creditors have filed claims for $55 million. A motion to dismiss Weinberg Campus' bankruptcy case was filed because Weinberg hasn't paid property taxes or bankruptcy fees.
The date is set for the return of the Spring Artisan Market in Larkinville as the shopping event returns to the Larkin at Exchange Building in Buffalo Tuesday, May 5th. Around 40 vendors will be there.
Nominations for this year's Business Ethics Awards are now open. You can nominate one or more companies you admire through May 1st at BuffaloBusinessEthics.org.
