Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.18, which is down two cents from last Monday. Meanwhile in Buffalo, the average price for a gallon of gas has not changes since last week at $3.21.

As drivers settle into their fall routines, AAA says gas demand is going down, and eventually, pump prices should follow suit.

Congressman Nick Langworthy (R, NY-23) announced over the weekend that Olean General Hospital will receive a grant just north of $200,000 from the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) for the Olean and Bradford Hospital School of Radiology Training Enhancement project.

With ARC’s investment, the hospital will acquire a new X-ray machine to improve clinical training for students, improving the radiological team at the facility, and ensuring better patient care.

While Pizantides continues to run the Ava’s catering division, she shifted her energies this summer to the new Olcott Lobster Co. in Olcott.

After purchasing Kissing Bridge in Glenwood for $1.06 million last fall, Rhett McNulty has set a goal to make the ski resort a year-round attraction.

McNulty has invested in more equipment and technology at the resort, and added more than 15 miles of mountain biking trails. He has also added offerings this winter like snow tubing.

At its peak winter season, the resort employs about 300 people.
