Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Delaware North has scored a 10-year extension on its contract with PGA of America. The company's Patina Restaurant Group, a luxury lifestyle division focused on restaurants and catering, will continue as the official catering partner for the nation's top golf events through 2034. That includes events such as the PGA Championship, KPMG Women's PGA Championship and Senior PGA Championship, as well as the 2025 Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black on Long Island.
The Town of Niagara will get its first brewery early next year when Falls Brewery opens on Military Road this spring. The project is under construction at 2408 Military Road at Military Square Plaza in an 8,000-square-foot space that previously housed an Oogie Games store and a tattoo shop. Plans call for a five-tank brewery with a taproom and restaurant with a menu to include wood-fired pizza, wings, bar food and burgers. The space will have a banquet area plus a range of family-friendly entertainment options such as two mini-bowling lanes and two full swing golf simulators that also will allow baseball, hockey, and zombie dodgeball.
Lloyd Taco Factory is joining Elmwood Village — a move that's been 14 years in the making. Founded as a food truck in 2010 that specialized in Mexican-inspired tacos and burritos, the company plans to open at 492 Elmwood Ave. by early January, giving the business its third brick-and-mortar shop to complement a fleet of three trucks.
