Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Just in time for the holiday season, Amazon has launched a new Same-Day Delivery facility in Pembroke, N.Y. This facility, which will serve customers across Western New York, will provide faster delivery for customers.
Located at 1116 Vision Parkway, this smaller, newer-generation fulfillment center was designed for speed – allowing for the fulfillment, sorting, and delivery of packages all from one site.
The 201,000-square-foot facility will create more than 100 full- and part-time positions and will service most of the Greater Buffalo and Rochester areas – touching Erie, Niagara, Genesee, Monroe, Livingston, Wyoming, Orleans and Ontario counties.
The Pembroke Same-Day Delivery site is the first of its kind in Upstate New York, and represents the latest expansion of Amazon's growing operations footprint in Western New York.

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que will open its new location at 4245 McKinley Parkway in Hamburg on Dec. 3.
The new site, developed at a former Perkins Restaurant down the road from the McKinley Mall, follows the closure in February of Dinosaur's site at 301 Franklin Street in Downtown Buffalo.
The opening marks the first suburban site in Western New York for the Syracuse-based barbecue restaurant, known for classics like ribs, pulled pork, brisket and house-made sauces. Unlike the city site, the new location has a dedicated parking lot.
