Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Workers at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston and Lockport Memorial Hospital have ratified a new 4-year labor contract with Catholic Health. The deal includes a minimum 12% pay increase over the length of the contract. Employees will also be paid more based on their job title. Contract talks had been going for 4 months.
The list of restaurants attending this year's Taste of Buffalo has been revealed. 42 restaurants will be there, including 13 first-timers. Returning restaurants include Babcia's Pierogi, Fat Bob's and BW's Barbecue. Rookies include Pudgy Potatoes and Street Cravings. The 43rd Taste of Buffalo takes place July 11th and 12th along Delaware Avenue and Niagara Square downtown. You can find the whole lineup here.
43North is bringing its startup competition to an end, with October's finals being the last after more than a decade. Since it's launch, 43North has created 1,000 local jobs and 3,000 across the globe.
