With the state poised to legalize marijuana, companies like Zephyr Investments LLC are ready to capitalize. In January of 2019, the Buffalo Urban Development Corp. named Zephyr the designated developer for a 47-acre portion of the Buffalo Lakeside Commerce Park. Business First reporting that the company still needs New York State to certify its project as a designated cannabis R&D and production center. The resulting $200 million project could bring up to 500 jobs.
