The CNN TV crew lead by Miguel Marquez that has been monitoring the protests outside the Brooklyn Center police precinct has withdrawn from the frontlines of the protest.

Protestors threw a water bottle at a member of the crew and quickly left attempting to avoid an escalated confrontation with the crowd. The CNN crew member took the bottle to the head, before falling over and being mocked by the crowd.

The crew decided it would be best to leave after the incident. As they made their way from the precinct they had projectiles thrown at them from the crowd.

Protests have been going on outside of the Brooklyn Center police precinct following the death of Daunte Wright during a traffic stop on Sunday, April 11.

This was not the first time CNN has had a run-in with protestors this week, CNN reporter Sara Sidner had a man confront her while she was live on TV on Monday night.

Currently, CNN has not made a move to return to the protests outside of the Brooklyn Center Precinct.
