Iroquois: Re-launching one of Buffalo's iconic beers!
Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - What's old is new again. The line formed at the top of the stairs at the entrance to the 100 Acres Dining Room inside Hotel Henry in Buffalo Wednesday as beer enthusiasts waited for their taste of the re-launched iconic Buffalo brew, Iroquois.
Community Beer Works recently announced their plans to unveil the historic brew which is being introduced in a limited introduction.
CBW President Ethan Cox tells WBEN the last time the beer was available was in the early 1980's. Although the brewers didn't have the actual recipe for Iroquois, they were able to replicate the brew based on taste and recollections of the beer.
Much of the marketing of the Iroquois brand is reminiscent of the original brand and will bring back warm warm memories for Buffalo brew enthusiasts.
