CHEEKTOWAGA (WBEN) - "I'm here because I love the Bills," said Anthony Andolina just hours after the Bills fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. "No matter what, win or lose, I'm supporting them."

Andolina was just one of hundreds, perhaps over 1,000 fans who showed up to the airport in the very early Monday morning hours as the Bills arrived in Buffalo around 2:30 a.m.

The gathering at the airport has become somewhat of a tradition in recent years after major road games. This season alone, there were large contingents of fans following the game against the Denver Broncos in which the Bills clinched the division, and then again after they destroyed the Patriots on Monday Night Football.

Game such as those, including the entire magical run that saw the Bills earn 15 victories, including playoffs, is how Andolina is choosing to remember this team, not the stinker of a last game.

"I'm hyped," he said. "Next year's going to be something else. They got to the AFC Championship - I love it. They lost, but it's whatever, they got this far after not even making the playoff (for many years)."

"I'm not disappointed, I'm hyped because they made it this far," Andolina continued. "I love them...everybody's here - we've got the mafia, the most electric Bills Mafia there ever could be."
