Tonawanda, NY (WBEN) Erie County Sheriff's Deputies say they've arrested a Tonawanda man after a drug bust. Deputies say the arrest comes after a month-long narcotics investigation.
Deputies say Wednesday afternoon, the Erie County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team entered Roman's residence at 123 Hawthorne Avenue. Deputies and detectives say recovered two separate packages of cocaine; .5 kilograms and 1 kilogram. The unit also recovered a quantity of crack cocaine, scales, a money counting machine, a large amount of U.S. Currency, and multiple pieces of high-end jewelry.
Roman is charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a narcotic with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is also charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Roman was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.
