BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - A Buffalo firefighter fell through the first floor of a building on Franklin Street Monday morning and landed in the basement.
The firefighter was reportedly rescued soon after his fall. He suffered a knee injury but was able to walk with assistance.
He was taken to ECMC.
The fire call came in before 8:30am at 228 Franklin St. between Chippewa and W. Huron and was quickly brought under control.
No word on what caused the fire.
The building was formerly used by Mes Lounge and is currently for sale.
