AMHERST, (N.Y.)---Not one, but the sale of two homes in Amherst but went for north of $1 million in deals that closed on Aug. 7
The deals are the 10th in Amherst, this year, to cross the $1 million sales threshold.
The deals:
* A four-bedroom, 4,000-square-foot house 105 Promenade Lane sold for $1.299 milllion.
The house was constructed in 2001.
* A five-bedroom, constructed in 1974 that was owned - briefly- by the late Buffalo Bills fullback James Braxton .
The house went for $1,71,005.
Erie County is pacing on seeing at least 107 homes, this year, to sell for more than $1 million economic bellwether within the region's residential industry.
Last year, a record, 105 private residence sold for more than $1 million.
Since 2024, nearly 300 homes went for north of $1 million.
