Orchard Park, N.Y. (WBEN) - For the second time this week, a house in Erie County has sold for more than $1 million.
In the latest $1 million-plus residential deal, a four-year-old, four-bedroom house at 20 Wentworth Drive in Orchard Park sold for $1.1 million.
The deal marks the 15th time this year, a house in Orchard Park sold for more than $1 million.
Overall, Erie County has notched 35 homes, this year, to go for north of the $1 million benchmark.
Erie County is trending to have a $1 million-plus home sale recorded in the county clerk's office once every four days this year.
The county is on a pace to have 85 homes, this year, sell for more than $1 million.
Last year, the county had 105 homes sell for north of $1 million including 17 in Orchard Park.
The sale of $1 million homes is considered a key economic benchmark within the region's residential real estate industry.
