CLARENCE, N.Y. (WBEN).....For the second time in as many days, a house in an upscale Clarence subdivision has sold -- and, it went for north of $1 million.
The four-bedroom house at 5330 Holly Glen Court went for $1.135 million, according to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk's office.
The 3,200-square-foot house was built in 2019 and acquired by a local couple.
For Clarence, it marks the 22nd home - this year - to sell for more than the key economic threshold of $1 million. Last year, Clarence had 30 homes go for north of the $1 million sales mark.
Clarence has the ,most $1 million-plus home sales of any Erie County town or city.
Nearly 39% of all $1 million-plus home sales this year took place in Clarence.
Overall, Erie County has recorded 59 home sales that have exceeded the $1 million sales benchmark.
Erie County is on a pace to see 107 homes, this year, sell for more than $1 million besting last year's record 105 $1 million-plus home sales.
The sale of private residences going for more than $1 million is considered a key economic benchmark within the region's residential real estate industry.
