BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Buffalo man at the center of a fatal 2019 Maserati crash in South Buffalo will spend the next 3-9 years in prison.

Antonio Brown was sentenced Tuesday. Two months ago, he pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide and second degree manslaughter in the October 27 crash on Seneca Street that killed AJ Twentyfive III and Kristin Labruno near Pomona Place. The two victims died of blunt force trauma.

"(He was driving) well over the speed limit," Flynn said. "On top of that, it was reckless because it was dark out. It was raining -pouring raining - out. The lighting was terrible on Seneca Street in the vicinity of this accident. It was not only his speed but his recklessness that contributed to this accident."

Families of the victims expressed their outrage at Brown in the courtroom today. Brown expressed his own remorse for the accident, though Flynn claims evidence from the accident shows Brown more concerned about his Maserati than the victims.

"You get no kudos for being remorseful," Flynn said.

Flynn said he hopes Brown spends the maximum term behind bars.
