Cheektowaga, NY (WBEN) Cheektowaga Police make two arrests after a series of incidents outside Aloha Crab at Walden Galleria late last night.

Police say there was some type of an event at the restaurant last night. Police say the first call came just after 11pm, where they received a report of 3 to 5 people fighting that escalated to 30 to 50 people Officers say they found no active fights. The business was at capacity and a crowd of around 100 people were additionally gathered in the parking lot. The exterior crowd was dispersed with the aid of mall security guards.


A half hour later, An anonymous 911 call transferred from CPS stated more people were fighting outside the business. Patrol responded back to the area and were not able to locate anyone. 20 minutes later, police say a woman to report she was assaulted by two other adult females while inside of Aloha Crab. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries. 23-year-old Alexis Nelson of Buffalo and 27-year-old Latoya Cheatom of Buffalo were located by patrol officers and arrested for Assault in the 3rd degree.

The motive for the assault remains unclear.
