Arrests made in pair of Buffalo gas station robberies

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - One victim was robbed twice in two days, and now Buffalo police have made arrests.

Police say on Jan. 1, a man was accosted inside a Tonawanda Street gas station by several men known to him, including employees, following a dispute earlier that day. Police say the assailants robbed him of $1,600 and his license.


The next day, the victim tells police he was contacted by one of the suspects who told him he could return to the gas station to get his money back.
When he arrived, police say the victim was locked in the gas station and struck in the head with a gun.

Following the second robbery, the victim reported both incidents at the D district station house.

Detectives responded to the gas station, at which point one of the suspects attempted to flee before being apprehended.

For their roles in the Jan. 1 robbery, Ali Saeed, 18 of Lackawanna, and Saeed Saeed, 20 of Lackwanna, were identically charged with one count of Robbery in the First Degree (Class "B" felony).

For his role in the Jan. 2 robbery, Saeed Saeed was additionally charged with one count of Robbery in the First Degree (Class "B" felony), one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class "C" felony) and one count of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (Class "A" misdemeanor).
