Wheatfield, NY (WBEN) A bicyclist died in a Thursday morning crash in Wheatfield. Niagara County Sheriff's deputies say the bicyclist collided with a dump truck Thursday morning.
The crash happened along Shawnee Road. Deputies say their preliminary investigation shows that the bicyclist entered the roadway and was struck by a dump truck. The bicyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The name of the bicyclist and driver involved are being withheld at this time pending notification of the family. Deputies continue the investigation.
