Orchard Park, NY (WBEN) - The man best known as 'Bills Elvis' is used to being greeted by waves and smiling faces during home games at Highmark Stadium. This past Sunday however, John Lang was met by something different when he returned to his tailgate site.

"We had the greatest afternoon of tailgating along with a game that was fun," Lang said. "Then we walked out to our car and found our friend's truck where everything out of there had been stolen."

Lang said that a large grill, tent, cooler, propane tanks, and utensils were all gone when he returned from the stadium Sunday evening.

"We've been doing it years and years and never had an issue," Lang told WBEN.

In a rush to replace all the items before Saturday's playoff game, a group of fans Lang tailgates with set up a GoFundMe page that has already raised over $7,000. Lang said anything that isn't needed to replace the items that were stolen will be donated to the Patricia Allen Fund at Oishei Children’s Hospital.

Lang said that he has no idea who may be responsible for the theft, but hopes someone will come forward.

"Something might happen this weekend when we're tailgating I might have somebody come up and say something to us. I would hope so."
