Hamburg, N.Y. (WBEN) - When Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen delivered his MVP acceptance speech last week, he thanked the many individuals who play a part in his everyday football life, including an unsung hero from the mailroom – Roderick “Slick Rick” Morrow.

West Herr Automotive Group presented Rick with a 2017 Chevy Traverse after learning that he had been taking the bus to work each day from Buffalo to Orchard Park, and has been without a vehicle for a while for some time.

“Slick Rick” is a long-time employee who is beloved by the team, and he quickly became beloved by the Western New York community when they got to know him through various media interviews over the past few days.

Through these heartwarming interviews and on social media, West Herr decided to spring into action and give this true Buffalonian a ride to call his own.
