Bills say they're listening to stadium criticism

(WBEN) - Top Bills brass say they're listening to all feedback - positive and negative - about the new stadium.

Everything from obstructed views, smoke filled concourses, and availability of water has come under scrutiny since the team first started bringing fans into the building in August.

"We anticipated it would be a bit of a learning process," Bills and Sabres President of Business Operations Pete Guelli told WBEN on Thursday.

"From a feedback perspective we have 17,000 PSL accounts, they all have reps assigned to them, and we're constantly in dialogue with our customers," Guelli said. "If they call with a concern, we're going to address it and try to find a solution around it if we can."

The latest controversy came after fan complaints that water bottles were not allowed in the stadium, even after fans said they were told they would be able to bring them in to use one of the various water bottle filling stations around the concourse. The team has since said that cups will be available for water in a snark-filled social media post.

Guelli said surveys are held after every game at the stadium to get feedback.

"It's going to take time," Guelli said. "It's probably a full year process. We expected it was going to take a little time and every day we learn something new and every day we're trying to address any issues that may come up."
