Warsaw, N.Y. (WBEN) - Wyoming County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating an overnight bomb threat.
At around 1:40 a.m., deputies say they found a bomb threat note, which had been attached to a traffic cone and left in the middle of the intersection on Hermitage Road at US Route 20A.
After inspecting the bomb threat note, deputies responded to a home on North Main Street in Warsaw, where a bomb was described to be under a vehicle at the residence. Deputies say the initial inspection of the vehicle did not locate any explosive devices. Neighboring residences were evacuated as a precaution.
The area is now safe.
