Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Three of the 2025 inductees to the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame have roots with WBEN and Audacy Buffalo.
While you may not recognize the faces, all their voices are familiar as Audacy Buffalo Director of Production and Buffalo Bills radio producer Todd Broady, host Hank Nevins and former host and programmer Kevin Keenan will be among the class to be inducted to the hall in September.
“Our Hall of Fame classes become more impressive every year,” said Stephen Monaco, President of the Buffalo Broadcasters Association. “Each inductee has left an indelible mark on broadcasting in Western New York and represents the excellence our industry strives for.”

- Maryalice Demler, Anchor, WGRZ-TV
- Kevin Keenan, CEO, Keenan Communications Group
- Hank Nevins, Host, WBEN/WLVL
- Todd Broady, Director of Production, Audacy Buffalo
- Dave Jickster, Radio Host; Community Advocate, 97 Rock
In addition to the Hall of Fame class, the BBA will honor the following special award recipients:
- President’s Award: Dave Ross
- Service to Broadcasting Award: Cindy Abbott Letro
- Western New York Achievement in Broadcasting Award: Dan Fisher
The 2025 Hall of Fame Dinner will be held on Wednesday, September 10, at
Samuel’s Grande Manor in Williamsville, NY. A cocktail reception begins at 5:30p.m., with the induction ceremony kicking off at 7:00 p.m.. The celebration will be emceed by Buffalo broadcasting legends Jackie Walker and Kevin O’Neil.
MEET THE INDUCTEES:
MARYALICE DEMLER
WGRZ-TV Anchor and Emmy Award winner, Maryalice Demler is a beloved figure in Buffalo news. A Niagara University graduate and former Miss New York State, her reporting has taken her from Olympic Games to papal events. She’s earned multiple Emmys and a Murrow Award, and is deeply involved in community service.
DAVE JICKSTER
A fixture on 97 Rock since 2005, Jickster is known for his energy on-air and tireless charity work. He’s raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local causes and collected more than 40,000 turkeys for FeedMore WNY. He’s also worked in sports broadcasting and been honored nationally for his promotional impact.
HANK NEVINS
From the Vietnam War’s airwaves to Western New York’s studios, Hank Nevins’ five-decade career includes key roles at WGR, WKBW, WBEN, and WLVL. A veteran, executive, and community leader, Hank continues to inform and entertain local audiences.
TODD BROADY
As Director of Production at Audacy Buffalo for over three decades, Todd Broady has shaped the sound of Buffalo radio. A SUNY Fredonia alum and educator, Broady has also produced for the Buffalo Bills Radio Network and helped launch countless radio careers.
KEVIN KEENAN
Starting at WBEN as an airborne traffic reporter, Keenan rose to program director before transitioning to the Diocese of Buffalo as Director of Communications. He now leads Keenan Communications Group, producing award-winning TV and radio content while mentoring the next generation.
JERICKA DUNCAN
Now a CBS News national correspondent and anchor, Duncan began her career in Elmira before joining WIVB in Buffalo. Her reporting during the 2009 Clarence Center plane crash helped the station win two national Murrow Awards. She’s since covered national headlines and earned widespread acclaim.
ROB RAY
Beloved Sabres enforcer-turned-color analyst, Rob Ray has been a voice of Buffalo hockey since retiring from the ice. A community leader and Sabres Hall of Famer, Ray is also President of the Buffalo Sabres Alumni Association and an advocate for many local charities.
