Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - It's the first weekend without football in Buffalo in months, and as people rediscover their weekends again, the Buffalo Auto Show is getting ready to open its doors.
The Auto Show is open from Thursday to Sunday at the Buffalo Convention Center on Franklin Street.
This year, the Auto Show will pay special tribute to Mulligan's Brick Bar, a beloved dive bar on Allen Street, demolished after a fire earlier this month.
"We have a special Brick Bar Appreciation night on Saturday from 6 p.m.-to-9 p.m.," said Auto Show chairman Paul Stasiak.
"The owners have said they want one more night to get the band back. We have bricks from Brick Bar for patrons who want to make a donation to charity. We have commemorative cups and we have all four owners of Brick Bar willing to sign them and tell stories."

A limited number of bricks will be available for a donation of $30, with all proceeds going to Buffalo's Ronald McDonald House.
Stasiak said anyone over the age of 40 is going to want to come down and bring their friends and celebrate one more time, not an historic building, but what he calls an historic phenomenon.
"The bricks still smell like smoke," he added. "We have them plastic wrapped in a commemorative box. This will be something special."
Auto Show hours:
- Thursday from 1 p.m.-to-9 p.m.
- Friday from 1 p.m.-to-9 p.m.
- Saturday from 10 a.m.-to-9 p.m.
- Sunday from 10 a.m.-to-5 p.m.
Discounted tickets are available at Tops Friendly Markets, Dash's Market, Consumer's Beverages and at Crosby's locations.
