Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Buffalo Bandits are set to take on the Saskatchewan Rush in the 2025 NLL Finals, starting with Game 1 of the best-of-three series on Friday at KeyBank Center. This is Buffalo's fifth-straight appearance in the NLL Finals, dating back to the 2019 season.
However, ticket prices are noticeably higher compared to past years.
Nick Giammusso, CEO of VIPTIX, says one major reason Bandits ticket prices have gone up this year, especially for the NLL Finals, is the team’s growing popularity.
"People want to support a winner in Buffalo. It's finally a team they can get behind. They've shown consistency with three championships now, and they've won six of them since their inception year of 1992. The Bandits are supported very well in Western New York," said Giammusso in an interview with WBEN. "I was at Wegmans the other day, and I couldn't believe the amount of Bandits jerseys that I saw, and people getting ready to go to the game last week. It's exciting, and the bandits are exciting, and the games are a lot of fun."
According to Ticketmaster, remaining tickets for Friday’s game are available anywhere from $60 to $300. Giammusso says once those tickets are gone, there's a very slim chance they'll be re-sold.
"It's kind of the opposite of what the Sabres and Bills ticket market is for the Bandits. Once they sell out, they sell out. There's no holding tickets," he said. "Most of the lower level has been sold. There's some upper levels and some clubs, 200 level seats available right now. But, it's not wise to wait for the Bandits game. It's a whole different market."
Game 1 on Friday is slated for 7:30 p.m. in Downtown Buffalo.
