Buffalo, NY (WBEN) State Police arrested Elias E. Cook, 23 of Buffalo, NY for Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree (A Misdemeanor), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree and a handful of Vehicle and Traffic Tickets after a brief pursuit Saturday afternoon.
Just before 4:30pm, Troopers out of SP Clarence while on patrol on State Route 33 in the city of Buffalo as part of an cooperative speed initiative with Buffalo Police Department, observed a 2015 Dodge Charger without license plates. Troopers activated emergency lights, and the Charger attempted to flee at a high rate of speed. The suspect vehicle exited on State Route 198 and got stuck in traffic. Troopers arrested the operator, Cook without incident.
Cook was transported to SP Buffalo and processed and released with an appearance ticket to the City of Buffalo Court for April 22, 2026.
