Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo Police announced the arrest of a Buffalo man following the execution of a search warrant on Wednesday on the first block of Bissell Avenue.
The search warrant, signed by Judge Peter Savage and conducted by Intelligence Unit detectives, Buffalo Police SWAT, ATF, and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, resulted in the recovery of a loaded weapon, an FN Five-Seven pistol loaded with nine rounds, along with two Glock switches. Glock switches allow for a weapon to fire fully automatically.
In addition, approximately 10 ounces of Cocaine, 11.5 grams of Fentanyl, 5 grams of Molly, body armor and ammunition were also recovered from the search warrant.
Mekhi Green, 20, was arrested by Buffalo Police and charged with:
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the First Degree (Class "A-I" felony).
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (Class "B: felony).
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree (Class "C" felony).
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class "C" felony).
- One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class "A" misdemeanor).
- Three counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Seventh Degree (Class "A" misdemeanor).
