Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging 34-year-old Eddie Franceschini of Buffalo with eight counts of production of child pornography, as well as three counts of possession of child pornography.
Prosecutors say on eight separate occasions between Dec. 1, 2023 and July 26, 2024, Franceschini coerced a minor victim to engage in sexually explicit behavior and then produced a visual depiction of the conduct.
In addition, between June 27 and July 27, 2025, Franceschini possessed images of child pornography on three different cellular telephones.
The charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, and a maximum of 30 years.
