
Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Buffalo News Monday reported it will close its downtown Buffalo production and printing facility and shift the operation to Cleveland.

In a story published Monday, the News reported the printing of the paper would shift to The Plain Dealer operation in Cleveland, impacting about 160 employees in Buffalo associated with the printing and delivery of the paper.
In October 2022, the editorial operation of The Buffalo News shifted to its current location in Larkinville and the report Monday indicates there will be no impact to the content or home delivery of the paper.
Two printing presses installed in the Scott Street building by the paper's previous owner in 2004 will be decommissioned, the report says.
