Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo police commissioner Erika Shields released a statement Monday evening after a short video was posted to social media by @Buffalo4KTV, allegedly depicting deputy police commissioner Craig Macy shoving a woman as police worked to clear Chippewa Street late Saturday night.
Here is the statement from Police Commissioner Erika Shields:
"The social media video clip circulating of Deputy Commissioner Macy during the disturbances on Chippewa Street Saturday night is concerning. We are gathering additional video and information to conduct a thorough review of the incident. We will not comment further until that review is complete."
