Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Shortly before 12:30 p.m., Buffalo Police say there was a three-vehicle accident at Broadway and Adams Street. One vehicle was overturned. It was reported that an occupant of one of the vehicles was ejected from the vehicle. Injuries appeared to be serious but not life threatening.
Prior to the accident, officers located a vehicle tied to an assault call on Grey Street. Officers traveling north on Adams Street encountered the vehicle near Adams and Brown streets as it was traveling south. Officers engaged their emergency lights and the vehicle took off south toward Broadway. The officers lost sight of the fleeing vehicle as they turned their vehicle around, but arrived at the scene of the crash following the collision as they traveled south on Adams Street. It was reported that the driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene on foot before the officers arrived.
