Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo Police made an arrest Tuesday after a double shooting on Kosciuszko Street.
The shooting happened before 4:40pm Monday. Police responded to the call on Kosciuszko Street and found evidence of a shooting but no victims. Police later learned the two victims had been taken to Buffalo General Hospital in a private vehicle.
Search warrants were executed Tuesday on Holly Lane in Tonawanda and the 200 block of Stanton Street in Buffalo with an arrest being made on Holly Lane. Police recovered three weapons, magazines and ammunition.
Tonawanda man John Hamilton, 32, has been charged with two counts of second degree attempted murder and individual counts of second and third degree criminal possession of a weapon. Additional weapons charges are expected.
Hamilton has three prior felony convictions.
Two men, ages 27 and 32, went to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
