Buffalo Public Schools hosting open interviews for school bus aides

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Buffalo Public School District will be conducting open interviews for school bus aides this Saturday from 9 a.m. through 1 p.m. ET at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts (PS 192) on 450 Masten Avenue.

"Now is a perfect time to become a school bus aide for the Buffalo Public Schools, because job offers will be made on the spot," said Superintendent Dr. Tonja Williams in a school statement. "I encourage those individuals interested in becoming a school bus aide to take advance of these job opportunities."


On Saturday, successful candidates will complete their Civil Service applications. A photo identification as proof of residence in Buffalo must be brought to the interviews.

Also needed for Saturday's interviews are, at least, three documents below that are dated within the past three months:

- Lease or mortgage statement
- Utility, phone, or cable bill
- Bank statement
- Vehicle registration or insurance
- County Budget Sheet
- Medical bill
