Amherst, NY (WBEN) The end of the year has led to the end of operations at Buffalo Roadhouse Grill. The restaurant announces it's shutting down permanently.
"This decision was not made lightly but as a result of multiple shut downs and a drastic reduction of business we can no longer operate at a loss without any hope for the future. Thank you for all the great people who have supported us through the years, we will miss you. Happy and Safe New year to all," says Buffalo Roadhouse Grill on its website.
Buffalo Roadhouse Grill was initially part of the Roadhouse Grill chain which has 70 locations across the east coast. The chain went bankrupt, and Jeff Lyons, who operated 10 of those restaurants, partnered up with two old Roadhouse Grill employees and opened Buffalo Roadhouse Grill.
Most of Erie County's restaurants are under orange zone restrictions, which mean no indoor dining.
