Three Buffalo area businesses were honored with coveted Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Awards Thursday morning during a virtual Zoom presentation that was broadcast LIVE on WBEN.
The 14th annual BNBEA event furthers community awareness of ethical behavior by celebrating companies that consistently demonstrate ethical conduct in everything they do.
The 2020 BNBEA Crystal Award recipients for business ethics are:
R.I.C. Plumbing Inc. (Small Business Category of 5-25 employees)
Niagara Label Co. (Mid-Sized Business Category of 26-100 employees)
Reid Petroleum/Crosby's (Large Business Category of over 100 employees)
"We are living in extraordinary times," said Fred Holender, BNBEA Board President.
"Now more than ever we need all businesses, big and small, to continue high ethical standards by setting healthy examples for the good of our community. The BNBEA award reminds us that there is never a time for short cuts. A company has to embrace a culture that goes beyond the organization."
A Judging panel comprised of community leaders selected one of three finalists from each business size category as the 2020 Crystal Award recipient. WBEN's Susan Rose and Scott Levin of WGRZ TV, Channel 2, hosted the event.
WBEN is a proud media sponsor of the event and nominations for the 2021 BNBEA's are beginning now. Visit BuffaloBusinessEthics.org for more information.
