Cambria, N.Y. (WBEN) - Niagara County Sheriff's Deputies are looking into an incident on Friday morning with a car that crashed into a building in the Town of Cambria.

Deputies say they responded to 3850 Saunders Settlement Road to find a 2023 Ford Escape had crashed into the front of the building.

The driver of the vehicle was interviewed, and said he was pulling into a parking spot, thought he had pressed the brake, but the vehicle went forward.

There were no injuries to personnel inside the business, but the driver and passenger were transported to Lockport Hospital for evaluation of minor injuries.

The Town of Cambria Building Inspector also responded to assess the building. There is no damage estimate available, and the business did not have to stop operations.
