Cheektowaga, NY (WBEN) Sisters of Charity Hospital, St. Joseph Campus, has reached a tentative four-year contract agreement with SEIU 1199, covering Licensed Practical Nurses and Surgical Technologists at the Cheektowaga facility.
“We are pleased to have reached a tentative agreement that offers our associates competitive wages and benefits, while acknowledging the ongoing challenges we face in healthcare,” said Jennifer Jacobs, Senior Human Resources Director for Catholic Health. “This agreement reflects the respect and appreciation we have for our associates and the exceptional care they continue to provide to our patients.”
In addition to this agreement, Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, Kenmore Mercy Hospital, and Sisters Hospital, St. Joseph Campus are currently engaged in active contract negotiations with CWA Locals 1168 and 1133 for nurses and other clinical, service, and clerical associates at the Catholic Health hospitals.
The union has scheduled a ratification vote for July 17
