Cheektowaga, N.Y. (WBEN) - A Cheektowaga man was arrested Wednesday following a lengthy investigation into narcotics trafficking.
The Erie County Sheriff's Office Narcotics and Intelligence Unit, FBI and Cheektowaga Police Department executed a raid at the residence of 29-year-old Adam Modica at Coralwood Court in the Town of Cheektowaga around 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
During the search, officers recovered more than four ounces of possible cocaine, more than 625 milligrams of mushrooms, drug paraphernalia and around $18,000 that is believed to have come from drug sales.
Modica was arrested without incident.
He's been charged with four felonies, including second degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hallucinogen, criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell, and criminal possession of a hallucinogen with intent to sell.
Modica is also charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
