CLARENCE, N.Y. (WBEN).....Erie County's hot streak of homes selling for more than $1 million continues with a Clarence house becoming the 83rd private residence, this year, to cross that key economic threshold.

In the latest deal, which closed on Sept. 2 and was recorded in the Erie County Clerk's office, a four-bedroom, 3,900-square-foot house at 8154 Golden Oak Circle sold for $1.245 million.


The house, located in the Loch Lea Estates subdivision, is the 28th Clarence private residence, this year, to sell for north of the $1 million benchmark.

Clarence leads all Erie County communities in terms of $1 million-plus home sales.

The sale of homes going for more than $1 million is considered a key economic indicator within the region's residential real estate industry.

Erie County is trending towards at least 110 homes, this year, selling for above the $1 million benchmark, surpassing 2025's record of 105 private residences selling for more than $1 million.
