CLARENCE, N.Y. (WBEN).....Last year, the Town of Clarence had 30 homes sell for more than the key $1 million-plus economic benchmark.
This year, nine months into 2026, Clarence is on the verge of breaking that record - and, so is Erie County, for that matter.
For the 29th time this year, a Clarence private residence has sold and surpassed the $1 million sales mark.
The four-bedroom house at 5559 Oak Dale Lane sold for $1,050,000 according to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk's office.
For the year-to-date, Erie County has recorded 84 sales of private residences that have surpassed the $1 million-plus sale mark.
Erie County is pacing towards 110 homes selling for north of $1 million, which is considered a key economic indicator within the region's residential real estate industry. That would set a new county benchmark, besting the 105 homes that sold last year in Erie County for more than $1 million.
Since 2024, more than 300 homes have sold for above the $1 million-plus thresho;ld.
