Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A man's body was recovered from the water at the Foot of Ferry in Buffalo on Wednesday night.
The Coast Guard tells WBEN the man jumped into the Black Rock Canal from the I-190 bridge at around 7:27 p.m. A boat crew from Coast Guard Station Buffalo was dispatched to the scene.
Personnel from Buffalo Police and Fire also responded, along with New York State Troopers.
A spokesperson from the City of Buffalo tells WBEN the on-duty Underwater Rescue Team and Buffalo Police Homicide Unit were also notified and responded.
