Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Canada Border Services Agency tells WBEN an outage that disrupted commercial traffic to Canada has been "fully resolved", and drivers should only expect "short-term delays" while processing is normalized.

Commercial vehicles, again, experienced issues crossing into Canada early Wednesday morning, stemming from a system outage that began Tuesday morning.

One driver for a Syracuse-based company told WBEN on Wednesday that commercial truck drivers at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge were being turned away. The employee says they were told computers were down and there was "no way of checking" commercial vehicles.

The Niagara Falls Bridge Commission confirmed to WBEN there were still computer issues early Wednesday morning. An employee with the commission told WBEN vehicles were being processed, albeit very slowly.

The Canada Border Services Agency provided the following update to WBEN at 8:28 a.m. Wednesday:

"The outage has now been fully resolved. Commercial drivers may continue to experience some short-term delays as we resume normal processing."
